Artistic Journey: The Archives

Most of these are paintings I’ve chosen to keep—works that hold personal significance in my artistic journey. Each piece represents a moment of exploration, a turning point in style, or simply a composition that continues to resonate with me. While most of my work finds homes with collectors, these remain part of my private collection, a visual record of where I’ve been and where I’m going.

1993 - This painting was done from a photograph I took while visiting Arezzo Italy while on an artistic pilgrimage. .

Anza Borrego

1993 - Growing up in San Diego, my time was split between the ocean and the desert—but the Borrego Desert held a special place in my explorations. I spent countless hours wandering its rugged landscapes, taking in its shifting light and quiet vastness. This painting is a reflection of those formative experiences, capturing the essence of a place that shaped my connection to nature and, ultimately, my art.

1991 - This 20x24 inch oil on canvas painting has had many names. I don't recall the real one, if it had one.

The Little Man

1991 - This was a quick painting as a study of a dwarf from an old Spanish painting. One of my favorites.
